THE DOORS "LIVE AT THE MATRIX" ORIGINAL MASTERS: WHAT'S IN IT?

Until now, the largest existing version of the Doors' live performances recorded in San Francisco on March 7-10, 1967 contained 24 songs (Bright Midnight Archives). The edition being released today (September 8, 2023) has 37 songs.

So let's see what it contains and how it differs from previous releases, both as previously released tracks and as unreleased tracks (of which there are 8!).

The tracks marked as "previously released version" are always from the original tapes. They have already been released in this form. So, the songs that are being released here for the first time from the original sound source (according to what is written on the back cover of the vinyl) are 14.
